High field intensity magnetic separators are widely used in enrichment of low magnetic function iron ore and discharging of magnetic purity of raw materials in industry. High field intensity permanent magnet magnetic separator, which are made of rare earth elements, have a wide range of usage in comparison with electromagnetic separator in terms of being more economical and having  more technical feature.

The advantages of rare earth magnetic separators to electromagnetic separators are listed below:

It doesn’t require a high power supply in order to create a high capacity magnetic field. It has a small size and it is light. It can be installed even in existing facilities without significant change. Maintenance cost is low. Thanks to open magnetic roll, it can work within a large granule feeding length. Cost per ton is less.

Because high field intensity permanent magnet magnetic separators have many advantages to other electromagnetic separators, their area of usage is expanding. High field strength permanent magnet magnetic separators, which are weak magnetic technically superior and cost-effective in production, are used in order to separate especially in enriching dry industrial raw material such as sea sand, feldspar (in ceramic), silica sand (glass production), calcium carbonate, kaolin clay, jacinth, gypsum, quartz powder, magnesite, silicon carbite, hematite (paramagnetic). It holds nickel cobalt from titanium and zirconium.

In roll type magnetic separators, working parameters that affect magnetic separation can be listed as roll spinning pace, feeding granule length, setting of divider blade, thickness of the belt, configuration of magnetic roll and number of process.             Roll type magnetic separators consist of two rolls first of which is in front and magnetic and enables material flow, slim and durable belt and a divider blade that separate magnetic and non-magnetic materials from each other. Feeding is done by a vibrating feeder which can be arranged.
